Korea celebs with their pets

The Kwave trend has blown to Singapore recently and I’m pretty sure that many of you are in love with your favourite KPOP songs, Drama and KIdol!

For this special post, we managed to find some pictures of idols with their cute little companions- pets.

First up, we have Popular Kpop boy band DBSK and their lovely pets: 

DBSK Micky on his dog Harang: “I used to be an allergic to dogs. So, I think its almost impossible to own a dog. But my dog(Siberian Husky) even cured my disease (chuckles) even since I brought him into my home. I can’t imagine a day without my dog.”

Delilah by Queen

Delilah, recorded by the singer Queen. It may not have the word "cat" in the title nor the lyrics but the song is about Freddie Mercury's favourite Cat. This song is from Queen's album titled Innuendo.

Walkin' My Cat Named Dog by Norma Tanega.

This song is about Norma Tanega who could only have a cat due to her living situation although she always wanted a dog. Thus, she named her cat "Dog" and wrote this song. The song is from the album "Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" as well.

Dixie the Tiny Dog by Peter Himmelman


This song is sung by Peter Himmelman. It is about the perspective of a dachshund called "Dixie the Tiny Dog". The song is from the album "Musings of Someone".

Pit Bulls & Parolees

The show features the happenings around Villalobos Rescue Center in the United States. It is the largest pitbull animal shelter with roughly 200 to 250 dogs. The show depicts day-to-day happenings and operations at Villalobos which includes rescues of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs. It also includes the shows efforts to get new owners to adopt dogs.

Faithful Friends

Faithful Friends is a pet education show hosted by Wanda Goldberg. It shares advice with pet parents regarding a wide array of animals, pet supplies and veterinary advice from the pet industry.

The girl and dog are inseparable, and the pet was a great comfort to Akari while grieving her mother's death. However, as Akari grows up, her feelings and interest moves away from Socks. Year by year, their distance grows, which also leads to her physical distance as she moves to a far off city, and must leave Socks behind to a childhood friend. One day Akari remembers the 10 promises that she had made to Socks and her mother.
